I like to have a 2 minute “intro” which allows me to get grounded and settled. Then a starting bell followed by a 20 minute meditation. Then another closing bell. Then a 2 minute “integration” where I am not meditating but still keep my eyes closed and slowly bring myself back to my surroundings.
So the important feature for me would be to have the “intro” and “integration” parts programmable as separate to the time spent actually meditating.
A good selection of starting, ending, and interval bells is essential.
Daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly tracking.
